So, when it comes to prediction of AI, people have been making that for over 200 years. So, when you consider Asimov’s Laws, which are normally used in movies like iRobot and loosely in RoboCop, he was late to the game in.
Who invented the Aeroplane? Many will say the Wright Brothers, but no, they only perfected it. It is like when Star Trek predicts the future, not the have an idea for a gadget, and someone watches Star Trek and say, I am going to make that, that is not invention it is manipulation (in a mostly good way).
When you think that it took about 75 years to go form the first powered flight to launching Voyager 1 and 2, I am more amazed by that, than anything made by AI. AI which is great for content creation, but general is making people dumb, in fact the dumbest people use it, which is making them even fucking dumber.
Do you recall people drive off the road because their satnav told them to do so… instead of using their eyes. We are back at that point again.
What I saying, is anything new coming, is possible already thought about in SciFi, holograms, MagLev (which is a thing that was abandon) or a Space Elevator which Japan is planing to build in 2030 and complete by 2050...
