The first season got me intrigued. I wasn't feeling the final season though. I get that it tied up loose ends, but that's not always a good thing. Mystery is part of what sold the show.

Noble gives quite a bit of the same creepy vibe, with much less of the fatherly comfort. It's the best modern version of "In Search of" with just as much of a dedication to corny recreations. Like "In Search of," some of the material is a stretch, such as linking Nikola Tesla to the 1909 Tunguska explosion in Siberia. But there's a lot of intriguing history, such as what happened to Einstein's brain, nuking the Van Allen Belt, and remote control humans.
