Stripe is hit or miss when it comes to anything remotely 'sexual' even 'PG' stuff, it genuinely depends on who you end up interacting with on their end and whatever mood that person is in as to whether they'll process or not.
We have a 'romance' eBook store that pushes some good volume, no issues at all with PayPal but, Stripe went nuclear for some reason, even though its nowhere near anything you wouldnt find in a Young Adult Fiction > Romance > General story on any site like BN, AZN, D2D, Lulu, etc.
On the flip side, we have products billing with them that are a lot closer to 'adult' with no problems at all
