is that right? erm, probs not, but would you extend effort to someone who treated you like ish? probs not
c4s has wicked cs. you have no idea how much of a PITA I've been to them over multiple things throughout the years. latest being the other day uploading a clip and all of a sudden pricing gone from the first step
I saved, went back to edit, switched studios to check another, changed browsers, pricing field still gone
hit up c4s cs chat and they solved it for me in 3 mins (it's now on the last step at 'publish')
thanked the dude and wrote apologies that he may be getting a lot of queries about that. he replied with a very professional version of 'gyal, you have no idea'. not his fault the takeover of c4s and switch to new system has been a mindfuck. at least c4s (for now) is one of the few sites left that has cc permission for the keyword 'mindfuck'
that's not your issue, but next time you upload a clip, pricing is on the last page at publish/schedule
the point is though, if you approach angry, burn bridges and lack patience, when you need to solve a prob or escalate an issue you will have fewer resources
personally not prone to anger but man oh man do I lack patience. so I learned to focus on goal-oriented problem solving. yelling at cs workers on any site/service is not good for them, you, nor will it get you closer to your goal
Viking's idea of a therapy dog is interesting, if you're a dog person. think any animal in terms of enhancing emotional resilience and vigor fits the bill is you mesh. my cat and goat are daily therapy with laughter alone
if you're a dog person and up for it, adopt a shelter pup. even an older dog will be so happy you can train them to do anything
it's not exactly that I feel sorry for people who don't have pets but more just a "dang, you're missing out on so much" thing
as stress is one of your issues, yeah AMA, get a pet. ultimate stress-reliever, and as you bond you'll find you learn to cope with external stressors in ways that don't impact your pet
and by extension your dealings with c4s cs/life aggravations
which ends up with less strain on your heart and all those blood vessels working hard to keep it pumping
this probably sounds like a lecture but I don't mean it to be. from a place of pragmatism be good to cs workers and yourself, and consider getting a companion animal
(and hope you have no further snafus with ID/release uploads)
good luck on your recovery Joe
