so not sure it was innocent just that we became desensitized due to time and obviously other things happening today it's easy to look back and think it was an easier time to live in. Every period had its rough time that affected the world - and it was no different in Canada if you've forgotten our Prime Minister of Canada during the 1990s: Progressive Conservatives Brian Mulroney (until June 1993) and Kim Campbell (June–November 1993), followed by Liberal Jean Chrétien, who took office in November 1993 Some horrible leaders we had to live through.
