That said, if your goal is simply to close the account, you can contact our support team directly at [email protected], explain the situation, and they’ll guide you through the closure process. Because we’re a regulated financial institution, we may need to confirm your identity as part of closing the account, but the team will make that as straightforward as possible.

For what it’s worth, there’s no penalty for keeping the account open if it has a zero balance, in case you ever need it again in the future. We don’t charge fees unless an account is dormant with funds remaining. But the choice is entirely yours.
