I just installed win 11 clean from the ISO file with a Windows 11 USB installer made with Rufus... it has built-in options to remove hardware requirements like TPM 2.0. so it makes win11 install bypass any checks..
My PC is running great now.. I don't think I'll upgrade for at least until next fall now when the very newest Ryzen CPU's are out.

The i5 6600k was an amazing CPU from intel... It's lasted me almost 10 years.. and is still doing what I need it to do...
While it was a powerhouse in its prime, the i5-6600K is showing its age today, primarily due to having only four cores and four threads (lacking Hyper-Threading). Modern games and applications are better optimized for multi-core processors. It can still run many games, but it may bottleneck with powerful modern GPUs and struggle with heavy multi-tasking or intensive applications. Despite no longer being a top-tier performer, its impact on a generation of PC builds ensures its place in hardware history.
