Not really, but it does have me curious. I have a book I keep like a sacred artifact called Diableries. These were stereoscopic (rest in piece Mark Kernes) images that started as bible stories, pics of heaven, and of course hell became the most popular part. Until 2018, everything I'd seen of them had been in black and white, photocopied, in zines, on the interwebs, etc. Brian May of Queen had an incredible restoration done, including the hand coloring of the original images. It's an amazing book.
I can definitely see some value in vintage smut given an upgrade. I'm also curious to see some of the golden age stuff with a high-definition look. To see 70s Annie Sprinkle and Désirée Cousteau in HD sounds pretty cool.

or perhaps AI could "restage scenes" and generate them from scratch within the formal framework it extracts from the movie. So say for instance Sunset Boulevard, could be recreated scene by scene with mathematic precision, the spacing, the objects, the lighting, all the tonal values, etc, all regenerated. And then yes there could be any number of exquisitely nude or lewdly attired models etc
