Porn is one of those businesses, like wrestling, body building, extreme sports... where when you are on top of your game, you feel like a million bucks, you get the money and the limelight...
But if you get injured, or can't work for some reason or another, or put in a couple poor performances in a row and lose your sponsor or whatever... man things can be extremely tough. Lots of pro-wrestlers have died in tragic ways, same with many extreme sports, think redbull-type high risk stuff.
It is also a very broad profession... sex work, that is... it can be a solo person doing solo nudes for OF and making a ton of money... or a veteran sex worker doing bukkakes, and some of the crossover with Sugar Babies and private videos, there are so many different types of sex work. Hell in 2017, I met a woman who was a prostitute / escort, but only for disabled people, men or women, in wheelchairs. She made a ton of money and I have no doubt that her clients were very happy to have someone who worked with their budgets and disabilities to be able to have sex at all.
Lana just happened to be a very beautiful woman doing crazy interracial at a time when it was practically the biggest niche and pushed by Kanye and such in music even if I remember correctly.
