I think it was Lady Thorn's Bizarre Flea Market in December 1992. I shared a table for my artwork and sold a couple of "prints" of my Dominatrix artwork. My first learning experience too as I didn't make much off just selling art. But I realized if I gave it a utility, like a calendar, where Dommes could post in their dungeon for appointments or for kinky people to have in their play rooms, I'd sell more.
I debuted my first calendar at "Spannermart" the fundraiser for leathermen who'd been arrested for a party in the UK. I sold a few over usenet, sight unseen, and through The Spectator magazine. This got me into QSM bookstore, then at The Specator.
When I moved to LA, Bill Margold got me a couple of gigs as an extra on Vivid movies like Roommates and Seven Deadly Sins.
It wouldn't be until 1999 when I was about to call it quits on selling kinky art when I got a call from my former room mate Chris Lowden at AVN. She needed help with a project and she knew I was comfortable with adult materials.
