Let’s be clear, I am not defending Pratt or his partners. They are guilty on many things and likely deserve jail time. HOWEVER, let’s not glazed over the fact that the government added some extra charges to fatten up their case.
Pratt was beyond stupid to go to Spain. He should have ran to Brazil, Thailand or other places with non extradition treaties.

Yes, they put models into situations that are unspoken & as you say, should have jail time, but it´s very wrong that these guys are being wronged for crimes they didn´t commit.
Was thinking exactly the same about he moving to Spain, like why Spain where the Police here are not easy, they catch their people & as you say, a country with no extradition would have been better, a bit stupid.
