thanks for everyone who chipped in advice, much appreciated. going to take in and consider all points of view. i'm not so much concerned about being 'right' about anything, at the end of the day we are all selling entertainment/fantasy type of products that cater to various niches and tastes, and though i do take my work seriously as its my bread and butter, it still equates to me being something like a comic book artist (and character) thats just a small portion of my real life.
that being said, yeah I created NDNgirls but NDNgirls is not my life. I dont think about fucking native girls everyday, its just my name and brand. But it IS *my* name. the book club girls could have chosen "ndnbookclub.org" or "ndnbooks.com" or anything else, but they chose "ndngirlsbookclub.org". I have no claim over them using "NDN" just dont use "NDNgirls" thats all. More power to them if they can raise money and mail books or whatever.
I like the idea of writing my own book about NDNgirls and native girls modeling (what a far out niche book topic) but that would actually drive some sales my way without rattling the sails too much. I don't like self righteous people that have the attitude that only black people can rap, and they shit on white rappers because they dont look the part even though most are better. I still play ytcracker, he's better than most black rappers but doesn't get the props. Same issue anytime there is an outsider who does something better than the ones pre-destined or expected to do their thing because they look a certain way. Most of the hate and controvery I've gotten over the years from NDNgirls is from critics who have a problem with a black guy making the goddam movies. They write this is many comments, native folks. They could care less about the girls and their life story, interviews, or general welfare, they just want to be the first ones to "exploit" their own people and are upset a jig beat them to the punchline. So maybe I will put a chapter about that in the book, but will not make that the focus of the book because nobody wants to read whining and complaining for too long like this paragraph
I do think a modeling guide (specifically for native models) is a great niche book idea that I'm in a good position to write, and I will mention the book club as well, maybe it will make their book club shipment and we can mutually exploit each other without getting into some copyright trademark battle, wherein I have a legal upper hand by precedence but they have native pussy and are a perceived as a protected species who can't think or act for themselves are require protection of some sort, which is racist and sexist in itself, and topic for another book chapter. but thanks gfy and everyone all good in the hood. doing ok otherwise yoga on the beach, tennis, running, bike stuff, etc yall be good. can do headstand and bakhasana finally. oh, and canada sucks. it really sucks. canada can eat a big fat donkey dick. i did an episode whitegirlcops10 called fuck thunder bay police where they were harrassing me about the ndngirls website, based on true stories so have some creativity from all the native girls drama, the scripts write themselves. peaceout and thanks again gfy will be around as usual
