Well, he and his Khmer Rouge party committed genocide. I think about 2 million died.
People don't know him well because the west media doesn't care much about guys like him.
Just take a look what's happening in Africa all the time. Anything in the media about the people who get killed there? no!
But we all know Saddam Hussein and Iraq. And there are much more dangerous guys out there...
