He did help turn that country into a power after WWI, but he also fought a two fronted war in WWII and fought in Russia in the winter.
I'll give him some credit for the economic turnaround, but I would never say that he's brilliant. Only a complete jackass wouldn't learn from Napoleons mistakes, and I can never say somebody is brilliant when they try to destroy a race of people. Can we just say that maybe he just did 1 thing right (the economic turnaround) because brilliant is just going way way too far. The guy was a jackass
