PHILADELPHIA -- A lawsuit was filed in federal court Tuesday against Pennsylvania Attorney General Mike Fisher by a pair of civil-liberties groups.
They said his policy of ordering Internet providers to block access to Web sites that contain child pornography also deprives subscribers across the country of access to legitimate sites.
The suit was filed by the Washington-based Center for Democracy & Technology and the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania, and a Doylestown-based Internet provider -- Plantagenet Inc.
