I would set the odds pretty high your girl is involved with the guy.....or, about to be.
She's might just fucking with you / testing you to see how you'll react and see where her limits with you are (before hooking up with him).
Maybe hoping she can keep you strung along on the side when the inenvitable breakup with her new NFL superstar happens.
