residuals. But regardless, check out the latest WGA "deal" and you will notice that only the biggest stars will get more % in residuals while the average actor will get far less. Typical really.
As for the porn biz: there are all types of producers, performers, etc. Some are mentally deranged, some are addicted, others are into power plays, others do it for the kink. But today, in 2024, "porn stars" are nothing more than highly paid whores - who, btw, get their exorbitant rates by being on camera (as NatalieK pointed out).
So should sex workers who film their fucking get royalties/residuals? Nope. Sorry Lana and Mia but you got paid to fuck ONCE, that's it. How many whores get paid AFTER the fucking is finished, Ben Affleck notwithstanding?
