He probably did lie about some things but I do not recall his testimony. LA cops are the worst in the country, no doubt (I used to live there, I know - and I'm white!). So of course the entire system was fucked from top to bottom.
BUT...
This doesn't mean OJ was innocent. plenty of evidence to convict. Problem was (and is), the whitest oreo black Uncle Tom in Hollywood suddenly became the symbol for black justice post-Rodney King. WTF???
So lying is bad yes. But perjury does not excuse murder. OJ got off and black people everywhere celebrated...what? Sticking it to the white man? OK fair enough. But don't act like he didn't do it.
