Do I think owning the platform you are on is more independent than just making bank on a platform? Yes, of course I agree with you.
Do I find it annoying that people want to give management business credit to every naked chick they see on the internet? Deeply yes. I'd get more credit for my business skills if I flashed my boobs than I get for decades of business experience and an MBA.
But there is no question OnlyFans provides a path of
more independence for talent. In this instance, she was able to support herself without having to comply with employers feeling it was their right to make health decisions for her. (I'll never understand how people can be pro-choice and also favor vaccination mandates or vice-versa, but that's a whole additional topic.)
