this should come as no surprise.
what people need to understand is this:
human beings are mammals. a "vow" of celibacy does not take the human libido away---it merely distorts it's normal release.
if you create an institution that says priests cannot marry, who do you think goes into the priesthood?
hmmm, what the fuck would you think? doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.
if priests can't marry, the priesthood will attract a high % of male homosexuals and people who have a (sexual) interest in children.
and then people wonder why the catholic church has these problems.
let priests marry, let them enjoy normal sexual relationships with women, and the priesthood will attract "normal" heterosexual individuals who actually will become priests due to some altruistic nature.
