It's probable that your traffic source has been utilized previously, and updating your offer could be crucial unless you consistently attract entirely new visitors daily. People tend to reach a saturation point and seek alternative content elsewhere.
An important point to note is that Affiliate Sponsors are your competitors as well. They closely monitor their affiliates' performance and might actively try to outperform you.
I worked at a few big ones behind the screens, not public, so I know what I am talking about! Trusting a sponsor, no matter how amicable they appear,
isn't advisable. They're
not your friend, especially since most of the time they aren't even webmasters like you or me.
So, when someone suggests, "Contact your sponsor, discuss your traffic sources, and have them check..." - don't do it! Instead, take a shortcut and REPLACE the offer! Plenty of sponsors you can work with and keep on offering new products to keep it "fresh"
