You can use paypal to sell an adult DVD or any actual physical adult goods. You are not allowed to accept it to pay for a monthly subscription ie 'Digital Goods'
The caveat is that epoch can use paypal to pay for adult subscriptions, but thats them (epoch) doing it on your behalf - Just not directly.
With a donate button, you are not selling anything, digital or physical, adult or otherwise - Its just a donation, and upon a cursory glance at the paypal.me T&Cs
