I had an unpleasant situation with the xPinnert plugin because I accidentally opened Pandora's box. After adding new pinboards to the list supported by the plugin, their servers started to crash and the projects themselves started to shut down. Even sex.com temporarily started using captcha on a new post pinning. Then I realized that a lot of people are not as smart as we think they are, and they just don't have any brakes and sense of proportion. That's why the plugin was removed. As for Twitter, it seems to me that Musk set out to kill that project. They put a limit on the number of readable posts, and now they are just banning sites that parse Twitter by IP address, without bothering with any inventive scraping defense. I think that any sort of autoposting has become a dangerous proposition there as well
