I have 5 kids various ages 16 - 14 - two 10 and a 7 year old.
Very proud dad here and difficult starting the day without surprise hugs an kisses much less the times we chill and talk about their lives. BTW - apparently I've practices my whole life to be master of the dumb dad jokes
It's a daily thing that keeps them smiling.
No matter how tough my day has been - putting them down for bed always warms my heart and makes me feel positive for the next day. I'll miss them when they move out.
