Maybe if the music industry wasn't investing all of their money and resources into the teen "pop" niche and actually started diversifying and signing DECENT bands/singers people such as myself would start buying music again instead of just ripping off all the SHITTY music that is out there right now.

I Agree, I haven't bought a CD in over 5 years....not becuase I can download it for free, but because any band that is worth a shit to me releases stuff on vinyl. Fuck CDs, they cost 2 cents to make, there's no fucking way I'm gonna pay $17 for one. The recording industry is, and forever will be, on crack. They tell people what's cool, and the people believe them, it makes me fucking sick. The stand has already begun, mp3 is a revolution, and they just don't know how to deal with it...so they're gonna sue a couple thousand teenagers to make an example...too bad they have the deepest pockets of them all. Fuckers.
