Write a poem in the style of edgar allan poe:
In the darkness of the night,
Where the moon casts its eerie light,
I walk alone, my heart full of woe,
Through the streets of a ghostly city, aglow.
The wind howls, a mournful tune,
As I make my way past the dark dunes,
Of towering buildings, cold and gray,
That seem to mock my misery today.
The rain beats down upon my face,
A bitter reminder of my fallen grace,
For I have lost the one I love,
To the cruel hand of fate above.
But still I seek her, my lost Lenore,
In the shadows of death's dark door,
For though she may be gone from me,
My love for her will always be.
And so I wander, through the night,
In search of my lost Lenore's light,
For in the darkness, she is all I see,
And in my heart, she will forever be.
But as I reach to touch her ghost,
I realize she is forever lost,
And I am alone, forever more,
In the darkness of my own heart's core.
And so I scream, a piercing cry,
For the love that once was, but now is nigh,
As I fall to my knees, in the darkness and the rain,
And curse the fate that brought me such pain.
