I know! It's a shame, really. I think they would make a lot more money if it was reduced. I personally find it visually attractive but that renewal fee scares a lot of people away.
Still, you could hold onto it for some time and make all your money back and then some with the right buyer and for the right price.
Just gotta have patience!
