People are asking for someone to vouch for you, because you are looking to "verify" people before giving them information. Sending my financial information to Jay from broker.xxx, whom everyone knows, is different then sending it to you, which seemingly no one here knows.
Secondly, if it's sex.com, which may be the only domain I can think of that could demand $25mil - it's widely considered in our industry to be cursed.
