I had the SAME experience that Rich had who started this thread only slightly different.
I'm on my way to a seminar, stop at the 7-11, not ONE english speaking person in there. I go to the Wells Fargo, it looked like Ellis Island.
Then, I stop by the Burger King. NO ONE is speaking English, can read the menus, or make a decent fucking chocolate shake. I turn around and look and there's only ONE white guy with a bible trying to explain the gospels in english to a dude who didn't speak english.
I hit the roof! I thought I was on Mars or something.
That, and whilst I stood in line the news came over that Gray " Gumby " Davis had signed into law the ' Illegal Immigrants Driver's License " bill.
I almost turned into the Hulk right on the spot.
What bothered me most was the arrogant attitude of the staff at the BK. Here I am with over 200 years of ancestors fighting for this country and many very famous at it ( look at last name ) and I end up getting treated like a shmuck or something.
It's gotta end.
