OK so maybe i missed this or maybe not but i renew/park my domains with Thriftys and up until today there has been almost zero issues. But a week ago i got an e-mail saying a domain was going to be renewed and the price had doubled to almost $20.00 Their phone # is out of order and the guy on the chat said don't worry the rate will be the same as its been for the past few years, now today i see they have charged $17.00 for the renewal.

Did i miss posts about rate hikes in general or is this just this one company ?

Any suggestions as to a better company with a simple switching process ?
