Only thing has changed is the markets around it, inflation, gov corruption, scams, etc... eventually when get fixed or shaken out, a bull run will return, and Bitcoin will be even stronger, and the infinite supply of fiat currency paired with Bitcoin will allow it to reach all time high's once again
