I don't think "SARS" will come back, but there will be new outbreaks of tropical zoonotic diseases as the planet continues to heat up and humans encroach further into the habitats of strange wild little beasties that belong deep in the jungle.
Maybe you could get a batch of the non-percussive (slow squeeze contricting type) mouse traps that don't make a mouse blood aerosol when they kill and promote those with the masks? Rubber gloves, too! Then you are halfway to an all purpose anti-bioterror/novel-disease or black plague solution!
