Don't worry about the "water weight" naysayers. A lot of the first few weeks' loss on ANY diet is mostly water weight. Low carbing may even result in great water loss at first b/c carbs hold a lot of water in your digestive track. Rest assured, you are also burning a lot of fat.
It's true that the weight will slowly come back if you start eating too many carbs again but that goes without saying.
