Sure, that changed later on, when a 3CCD camera was good enough quality, but that was more because they then had the tech at TVX end, which could 'Bump Up' the quality sufficiently for broadcast.

Of course, these days, its all moot - My phone in my pocket can record 4K at 60FPS, but in the early days of TVX, (Which is the era I am referring too) just having access to the right camera, was cost prohibitive... Let alone a second to shoot alongside.
I agree.

However we are getting a bit off track.

My point/thought/idea was to shoot with a second camera a film to put on a porntube, so people may want to join your site for the hotter version.

My understanding was that the two camera trick was used by a few firms who found people did go out and but the VHS hardcore version.
