I had the opportunity to live in Europe for a couple of years and it really is quite suprising just how little race plays in politics over there, irrespective of the party.

Not just Europe...Central and South America, most of Asia...people don't use race for politics, I have no idea why its such a big thing in the US. Probably good for parties who have nothing else to offer? No idea.
