As much as people might like them to be, they are fucked for a year or two max before they are able to produce everything themselves at which point they won't give two shits. They don't even need to invent things anymore now that Russia has basically made any copyright and patent originating in a country sanctioning them as worthless. It's a huge country of 150 million people and every possible natural resource available within their own borders - they will manage just fine.
