I was more implying that the timing for doing this is fucking ridiculous when there is a war going on over our border, and we took in as many refugees in 12 days as entire EU did during the migrant crisis a few years ago.

They could build a wall between Poland and the rest of the EU also. There was a reason EU didn't take more people in from Syria, or even left people behind in Afghanistan. If politicians take in everyone they won't be reelected when the sentiment is gone. You think Dutch people want to wait 20 years for a house in Holland and the rest get an urgencyfor an house? That is why also many are stuck in camps in Greece, other countries don't want them. Another Merkel fail; Wir Schaffen Das. It is hard, but that is how the situation is.
