I can believe that. This is an information war aswell as an economic one
Putin is desperate for his people not to view ANYTHING that he doesn't have control over. Hence the blocking of facebook, twitter etc, closing down all the independant media and the 15 year jail sentence for anyone spreading what he calls fake news
The older generation might fall for that as they tend to get most of their information from state TV but the younger generation wont. I predict there will be huge sales of VPNs in Russia in the coming months
