working out a lot = loss of water through sweat, and making your body use more water rather than retaining it, so it takes it from its stores first.

If you keep working out you'll actually start to *gain* weight, because muscle weighs more than fat.
Stop looking at the scale and instead look at your body shape and where the fat is. Judge by those things, not by the scale.
