another tip, never shut the camera off, show all negations and all the conversation, chat while she if filling out the paperwork. and after the shoot, even the model clean up. if you can fake an argument about the rate even better... even 'if I'm gonna fuck you, I'll need more money". not every time but enough to keep if interesting.
the big time guys edit, but the consumer feels cheated, like stuff happened they don't know about. they want to see it all, not have to buy BTS down the road... for lighting you want the 'Walmart look' light everywhere and flat. shoot your lights into the ceilings or walls. avoid windows, mirrors.
BTW I'm not as big shot just a guy that grossed 3/4 mill a year working in my place, mostly alone, shooting pro-am porn. AND this: Oh - and try not to fall in love with the models. best advice ever...
