I mean yes, Facebook are an evil corporation but, I can 100% see their point.
They're offering a free service to people in order to generate income, if someone figures out a way to manipulate the service as offered that would negatively affect profits, I can understand why Facebook wouldn't want that individual on their system.
Does that make it right? No, does it make solid financial sense? Yep.
