Seems to me like this is a no-brainer.
The kid needs to apply to companies that are hiring and get on-hand experience to learn about the industry.
Once he's gotten some experience, THEN he can start thinking about developing his own projects.
The sheer fact that he has to ask how to get in shows that he doesn't have the personal drive to figure shit out on his own, so let someone pau him to learn
