This is true. But sadly, some sponsors will only respond to a public dispute.
As an industry we have to police ourselves.
The sponsor's police their affiliates, in some cases by arbitrarily canning their affiliates.
So, who polices the sponsors? If they won't respond to you or give you an unsatisfactory answer, what other choice do you have?
I do think the message board route should be the last option however.
