Only if you waste time with memberships. Bad business model, unless you are well established over the years, or recycle or steal shit to no end. With $ 2000 you can shoot three model video and make 3 x 1h interesting movies. Interesting means NOT just fucking and sucking meat and potato porn for the lumpenproletariat. Something unusual, but not a porn with ugly tattooed guys who look like they OD's on steroids, females not only tattooed all over the place, but DuPont and Botox enhanced faces, tits and bodies. Of course if you shoot in California this 2K would not be enough because these "uglies" charge a 800/ scene.
But once you figure out how where and be creative, then you can set up VOD site and just like Amazon or iTunes charge per view. If you do a good job you get your $ 2,000 investment back in a week and off you go to make more.
