I was always under the impression that a HERO was someone who did the saving or did the rescuing of fellow soldiers. Since when is a HERO a prisoner of war? If anything they should've kicked her ass for being captured, not given $1 Million, or better yet, a pat on the back with "you're lucky the navy seals rescued you". This country is going down the tubes at a quicker pace nowadays...
It's like when people sue the police or fire department because they get hurt, while being rescued. If that's the case, and I was in charge, I would say, alright, fuck you, back to that position you go, and let your tough guy lawyer rescue you, because we don't care.

She was not in Combat Arms. She was involved in a vehicular crash and was severely injured. Anyone that serves in a combat zone is a hero...just for the act of serving the country. |
