you don't need a gym, just youtube some Insanity and install a bar for pull-ups and you're good to go. 5 liter water bottles work as well as free weights

You can perform some decent work outs at home definitely but in my case - unless you have a decent selection of heavy weights and equipment, press-ups, pull-ups, free standing squats and the like becomes tiresome and ineffective after a while.
