I believe it's because of one simple reason: money. The SJWs have learned how to monetize outrage. Instagram "influencers" and YouTube "stars" have learned that the more views they get = the more ad revenue that gets deposited into their accounts. So guess what? They scour history looking for anything they can get outraged over so their clicks (and bank accounts) go up.

I personally have only read 2 of the problematic Seuss books. But I'll tell you what: I bet 99% of the people outraged over the insensitivity never read a single Seuss book, ever.
