No covid in Sydney for the past 30 days, life's been relatively normal since September, there's been a few outbreaks from returned travellers 1-20 people range, a weeks lock down in targeted few specific suburbs seems to knock it on its ass. Only a matter of time until these mutants hit hard and then it will be more difficult. Most of the early deaths here were in Nursing homes.. same issue worldwide.
Most business is back or never went, tourism is fucked of course but local restaurants are ok depending on clientele.
Vaccinations are just starting, liberal hippies are all in paranoid mode of course but I think everyone else will go for the jab.
