Visa/Mastercard never really liked that, that's why Pornhub.com never was selling memberships and processing credit cards - only PornhubPremium.com was.
This is not good enough for VISA/MC anymore after all this bad press.
Tubes will have to stick to legally licensed content that has a clear owner and producer on file, that's all.

See this is what exactly happened. Pornhub just got rid off all user uploaded videos
without ownership to solve the situation:

They went down from 13.5 million videos to only 2.9 million videos overnight.

At Pornhub, the safety of our community is our top priority. Last week, we enacted the most comprehensive safeguards in user-generated platform history. We banned unverified uploaders from posting new content, eliminated downloads, and partnered with dozens of non-profit organizations, among other major policy changes (please read here for more details).
As part of our policy to ban unverified uploaders, we have now also suspended all previously uploaded content that was not created by content partners or members of the Model Program. This means every piece of Pornhub content is from verified uploaders, a requirement that platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat and Twitter have yet to institute.

An article on the change:

I'm sure VISA Mastercard etc will just sit on the case for a couple of months, then lift the ban since the site is clean now.
And then Pornhub will actually be able to process credit cards on their main domain too, possibly.
