I run one for main work and the other for daily backups of that work.
My concern here is if one drive dies, you are in quite the pickle. With the multi-bay set up above, you can lose a drive and it's no big deal. Pop another one in and it will rebuild. The system will also alert you when a drive is starting to fail.
